For My Children has provided
shoes and coats donated and purchased made
through donations for thousands of
children in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Founded by Bernita Scott, who like most visionaries, was moved to action
by an event that changed her life. Having come across a young child with tattered
shoes and finding that the child had no means of acquiring new shoes. The Good Samaritan in her provided the child a
pair of shoes. After seeing the joy the shoes brought the child; Ms. Tyler took
upon herself to provide shoes for other needy children in the community. This
is the foundation that Shoes For My Children is built upon.
